Artisight’s All-In-One device, the infrastructure behind its smart hospital platform, has been named to TIME’s Best Inventions of 2026. The device helps health systems bring advanced AI across the care continuum, giving care teams a more complete picture of each patient’s status and well-being.

“Outfitting hospital rooms is among the most important investments a health system makes, yet those rooms are filled with disconnected technology that does little to ease the burden on clinicians or improve patient well-being,” said Dr. Andrew Gostine, CEO and co-founder of Artisight. “We are proud to have our platform recognized as one of TIME’s Best Inventions of 2026, together with our health system partners who continue to inform and inspire us on this journey.”

Health systems have spent years layering separate tools into patient care environments, each requiring its own hardware, vendor, and IT integration. Artisight replaces that patchwork with one device and one platform supporting multidisciplinary care teams. Use cases range from virtual nursing, specialty teleconsults, and ambient documentation to continuous patient monitoring and operating room workflow. Because new capabilities are delivered through software, health systems can expand those use cases over time without replacing hardware.

Each All-In-One device contains an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX for on-device inferencing. It processes audio, video, and spatial data at the edge to minimize latency, reduce bandwidth demands, and preserve patient privacy without relying on the cloud. Using NVIDIA CUDA, TensorRT, and Triton Inference Server’s concurrent model execution, Artisight’s models can analyze millions of video frames simultaneously in multi-dimensional embedding space, enabling better temporal analysis than single-frame or LiDAR-based approaches. Combined with clinical activity and EHR data, this analysis shows care teams how a patient’s situation develops over time rather than in isolated moments. The resulting insights can help them identify, track, and address issues with a patient before they happen.

The All-In-One is deployed in patient rooms and operating rooms across the U.S., spanning diverse care environments, bed sizes, and geographies. Health systems using Artisight have reported improved staff efficiency and satisfaction, with hours of nursing time recovered every day and staff who stay longer because the work feels more sustainable. They have also seen safer, more efficient care, including fewer adverse events, faster discharges, and shorter lengths of stay.
