Industry veteran Suzanne Dunham to lead focused practice supporting workforce solutions, project execution, and talent strategies for the rapidly expanding data center market
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — HNM Systems today announced the formal launch of its dedicated Data Center Practice, consolidating the company’s growing data center business under a single leadership structure to provide greater focus, accelerate growth, and expand support for customers across the digital infrastructure ecosystem.

The practice will be led by Suzanne Dunham, a seasoned enterprise technology and workforce solutions leader with more than two decades of experience helping organizations scale, transform, and navigate complex growth challenges. Throughout her career, Dunham has worked across enterprise software, data science and analytics, workforce solutions, learning and development, recruiting automation, and talent intelligence. She has partnered with customers to improve hiring outcomes, strengthen workforce effectiveness, and drive organizational growth.
Prior to joining HNM Systems, she held roles with transformative, high-growth organizations including Posit, Degreed, Avionté, and Jobs2web, helping enterprise organizations accelerate growth, improve workforce performance, and adopt innovative technology solutions.
Since joining HNM Systems, Dunham has focused on shaping the company’s data center strategy and building relationships across the digital infrastructure ecosystem. Her extensive background in enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, and solving complex organizational challenges positions her to lead HNM’s continued growth in the rapidly expanding data center market.
The launch comes as investment in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, power infrastructure, and network modernization accelerates demand for data center capacity. JLL projects global data center capacity will nearly double from 103 GW to 200 GW by 2030. At the same time, the U.S. construction industry is expected to require approximately 499,000 additional workers in 2026, intensifying competition for the specialized trades and technical talent required to build and operate mission-critical infrastructure.
For more than a decade, HNM Systems has supported the teams building, connecting, powering, and operating critical infrastructure across telecommunications, broadband, wireless, energy, and technology markets. The Data Center Practice brings additional focus to an area where HNM has already developed experience supporting customers and projects across the digital infrastructure ecosystem.
“The demand for data center infrastructure is undeniable, but demand alone doesn’t get projects built,” said Heather Moyer, Founder and CEO of HNM Systems. “Power availability, community engagement, and workforce capacity are three of the biggest constraints facing the industry today. Our role is to help solve the workforce side of that equation—not only by finding specialized talent, but by helping customers build the talent pipelines they will need for the future.”
The Data Center Practice will provide workforce and professional services solutions across critical infrastructure environments, including engineering, construction management, commissioning, network operations, project controls, technical recruiting, contract staffing, contract-to-hire programs, workforce development initiatives, training programs, and specialized delivery support. The practice will serve hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, telecom, energy, and digital infrastructure organizations throughout North America.
HNM combines U.S. based market expertise with global delivery capabilities across Chile, Costa Rica, Brazil, the Philippines, and India, giving customers access to broader talent pools and scalable workforce support.
As part of its workforce development offering, HNM also helps customers build new talent pipelines through structured training cohort programs that combine recruiting, training, field exposure, and skills evaluation. HNM manages candidate sourcing, onboarding, training administration, scheduling, and program coordination, while customers retain control over final skills assessment and hiring decisions. The model gives organizations a repeatable way to develop field-ready talent and reduce dependence on an increasingly limited pool of experienced technicians.
“The race to build digital infrastructure is ultimately a race to build capacity,” said Suzanne Dunham. “Organizations are making significant investments in data centers, AI, and mission-critical infrastructure, but success depends on having the right people, expertise, and execution capabilities in place. HNM is uniquely positioned to help customers meet that challenge.”
The practice launches with demonstrated success supporting data center and mission-critical infrastructure customers. Recent engagements have included helping a growing digital infrastructure organization scale its workforce to support hyperscale data center environments, identifying and evaluating more than 1,000 candidates for specialized roles, and supporting mission-critical infrastructure and network operations programs.
The practice builds upon HNM’s experience supporting hyperscale data centers, digital infrastructure providers, telecommunications operators, engineering firms, and critical infrastructure organizations across North America.
